Pikori日本語

Install Pikori

Setting up takes about two minutes.

You need

You can use Pikori with only one of them, or with neither: Today then shows your calendar.

1. Download

Pikori is in a small beta. Open the beta page, enter your beta key, and download Pikori.dmg. For a key, write to pikori.contact@gmail.com.

2. Install

  1. Open Pikori.dmg and drag Pikori onto the Applications folder.
  2. Open Pikori from Applications.
  3. The beta is not signed by Apple yet, so macOS says it cannot verify the developer. Click Done.
  4. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to Pikori. Confirm with your password. You only do this once.

A small character appears in the menu bar. Click it to open the panel. The welcome window lets you choose what the first tab shows.

3. Connect Claude Code

  1. Click the gear in the panel to open Settings, then General › Connect Claude Code.
  2. Pikori backs up ~/.claude/settings.json and adds its status line helper. If you already had a custom status line, it keeps working.
  3. Send any message in Claude Code. The Claude card fills in after Claude replies.

Pikori never reads your Claude sign-in. It only sees the limits Claude Code passes to its status line.

4. Connect Codex

If you have not signed in to Codex yet, run this once in Terminal:

codex login

Pikori finds codex on your PATH or in /opt/homebrew/bin, /usr/local/bin, or ~/.local/bin. The Codex card shows your limits within a minute.

5. Optional extras

Updates

During the beta, download new versions from the beta page and drag them over the old one. Signed releases check for a new version once a day and show what changed before installing.

Remove Pikori

  1. If you connected Claude Code, click Disconnect Claude Code in Settings › General. Your old status line comes back.
  2. Quit Pikori from its menu.
  3. Move Pikori from Applications to the Bin.
  4. To remove its saved data too, delete ~/Library/Application Support/PixelQuota.

Troubleshooting

macOS says Pikori "is damaged" or cannot be opened

Use Open Anyway in System Settings › Privacy & Security, as in step 2. If the button is missing, open Pikori once more, then look again.

The Claude card stays empty

Check that Claude Code is 2.1.251 or later (claude --version) and that you are signed in with a Claude subscription, not an API key. Then send a message; the card updates after the reply.

Pikori's number is different from claude.ai

Pikori shows what is left by default, and claude.ai shows what is used: 65% left is 35% used. Use on the website shows up after your next Claude Code message.

The Codex card says "Codex CLI not found"

Install the Codex CLI, then run codex login in Terminal. If you installed it somewhere else, link it into /usr/local/bin.

I don't see the character in the menu bar

A full menu bar can hide icons behind the notch. Quit a few menu bar apps, or hold ⌘ and drag other icons to make room.

Still stuck? In Pikori, open Settings › About › Send Feedback.
